2. No smoking under any condition. Stay away from smokers secondary smoke; this can be as deadly as smoking.
3. Moderation in drinking alcohol. No more than one glass of wine, preferably red, is all you should drink in one day. If you have had drinking problems in the past, abstain from alcohol completely.
4. Drink one glass of cool water when you arise in the morning and when you retire at night. You should drink 6 to 8 glasses of water each day,
5. Make sure you eat proper nutritious food. Stay away from "junk food" as much as possible. Follow the instructions of your primary doctor or your compatible doctor regarding nutrition. The body of knowledge changes frequently as resarch is done. Make sure you eat as many fruits and vegetables as possible. Eat meat sparingly. Consult your doctor regarding vitamins and food supplements. If you eat correctly you will require less vitamin pills and other supplements.
6. Make sure you have a rigime for exercise. This will depend on many factors, so consult your doctor about this. Walking is still a very good form of exercise. If you are young, vigorous walking and moderate running may be appropriate. If you are older, walking is still the best form of exercise.
8. Get sufficient sleep: seven to eight hours each night. This is important so your body can relax and repair itself each night. If you are having trouble sleeping, consult your doctor immediately. Do not take sleep medication, except as a last resort, if prescribed by your physician.
9. Relax and enjoy life. This is very important to your health. Most students of Mysticism do not need to work too hard to accomplish this. Your studies naturally bring this about.
10. Let me remind you that you have at your command a very potent healing force that you can use in your life: the Cosmic through the Master Within. If you are a beginning student, do not hestitate to use the Metaphysical Healing Aid, as recommended on this site. If you are a more advanced student, do not hesitate to ask for Metaphysical Aid when you need extra help. If you are fortunate enough to have a primary physician or compatible physician that is also a student of Mysticism, you will indeed be very fortunate. Such persons do exist, but sometimes difficult to find.
